Annie von Felten has been with Gabbart & Woods since 2004, and is in charge of our Truckee, California Studio. Her projects include a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential structures, and she is an accomplished designer utilizing all engineering materials.

Annie's professional background encompasses an impressive range of experiences. While working on her Masters Degree studies at the University of California, she taught structural engineering courses to undergraduates and worked with the California Department of Transportation in investigating the seismic response of the I-880 Cypress highway bridge structure. Later, while employed by a Bay Area structural engineering firm, she assisted on the design of steel components of the new Bay Bridge spanning between Oakland and Yerba Buena Island.

Annie's present varied professional interests include historical buildings, and sustainable design. Her projects reflect sensitivity to architectural intent, attention to detail, and excellent field coordination.
